A Day In Tokyo's Black Market Street

Tucked away in Tokyo's historic Ueno district, is Ameyoko Street Market.

Believe it or not, this used to be a black market during the post war era where you will see many shops selling army surplus supplies and American goods.

Today it's transformed into a street market selling a wide range of items...including unbelievable street food!

What's also cool is that many of the shops in this market is built right under the tracks of the subway trains above!

Because the host of this video was a local Japanese guide, it was very appreciative to see a very authentic look and perspective of this area.
