To celebrate spring and the Sakura (cherry blossom) season, this recent video I found shows one of the most beautiful and my favorite spot in Tokyo for cherry blossoms.
It's in the historical Ueno Park in Tokyo and it has everything!
Beautiful old temples, serene forest, a calm lake, and of course scores of stunning cherry blossom trees. It's like walking through a fairy tale.
You can enjoy the video in HD here:
How did you like it? For me, I love how this park contrasts the historical temples and ruins with the cherry blossoms against the modern city scape surrounding the area.
Are the cherry blossoms in bloom from where you're from?
Please share!
Cheers
Alec
