This was really cool. Learned a lot about the rich history of sake.
If you don't know what sake is, it's a rice wine from Japan that is easy to drink with delicate flavors, and is now enjoyed all around the world.
But did you know that there's one place in Japan that is considered the birthplace of modern sake?
That one place has a rich history, beautiful landscapes, and deer!
That place is called Nara.
And in this video I found, the host does a wonderful tour of the place giving you a glimpse of it's storied past and how sake became an important part of Japanese culture.
Let me know what you think!
Have you tried sake before?
Cheers,
Alec
