Japan has been known as the video game capital of the world.
Many of our beloved games we played as a kid all originated from Japan..
Such as Super Mario..
Zelda
Sonic the Hedgehog
Street Fighter
The list goes on and on...
But what is hard to believe that is happening now, (I guess due to the rise in mobile gaming, with the pandemic being the last straw), many of the iconic arcades in Japan are closing down! =(
