How Sake Is Made

Have you heard of sake?

It's one of my favorite alcoholic drinks...it's basically a rice wine that is super popular in Japan.

It has a nice mellow sweet taste to it, but be warned, because it's so smooth drinking, sometimes you don't even realize you drank a little too much of it! LOL

One the interesting things about sake, is it's process of fermenting the rice, there's probably a few hundred to a thousand year tradition in Japan in making this.

But what struck me with this video, was how they were able to combine traditional techniques with modern day technology.

My favorite part was how fast they can bottle everything....amazing!

On a side note, in this video, that guy at the end who's job was to drink sake all day to test the quality of it, must have the best job in the world!!! Haha!
