It sure brings back some nostalgia for me, and some surprises too!
This video goes in depth of some of the retro toys that were produced in Japan that paved the way to popular culture that we know it today.
Take for example, The Transformers was a very popular toy in the 80's and 90's...these were stuff that I grew up on in North America. But little did I know, it's origins were in Japan! And now it's in mainstream pop culture that even has it's on Hollywood blockbuster movies.
