Sometimes you just got to admire the craftmanship of traditional methods in Japan.
For even the most basic item such as soy sauce, you can find such unique methods still in use today that has been passed down over hundreds of years.
This video I found of a traditional soy sauce maker really blew me away, because they've been using the same manual methods in the same wooden barrels for over 150 years!!!
And the way the master soy sauce maker hones his craft in the video, it's as if he's making wine or whiskey! haha
