Creepy But High Tech Robots In Japan

You see it in popular culture where Japan is a leading nation in robot technology.

And that is quite true in real life.

In Japan, there is an emphasis of creating robots to fill the void of their aging workforce, and also to automate certain tasks to keep costs low due to rising cost in labor and materials.

But this kind of took it to the next level...in some instances kind of creepy.

In this video I found, there was a couple who stayed at a hotel in Japan that is 100% manned by robots without any human staff!!!

At first I thought some of the robots were actually cool.

Like the industrial robots that you see on the assembly lines.

But once they flash the scenes to the humanoid robots with artificial skin, hair, and even "emotions", that kind of started to creep me out a bit...haha

Will this be the rise of the robots?  

Shall we call on John Connor to save us all?  It's Terminator time! LOL
